Bently Nevada’s Electronic Overspeed Detection Systemfor the 3500 Series Machinery Detection System providesa highly reliable, fast response, redundant tachometersystem intended specifically for use as part of anoverspeed protection system. It is designed to meet therequirements of American Petroleum Institute Standards670 and 612 pertaining to overspeed protection.3500/53 modules can be combined to form a 2-out-of-2 or2-out-of-3 (recommended) voting system.The use of redundant power supplies in a 3500 rackcontaining the Overspeed Detection System is required.
