GE IC698CMX016 Switch Module

Description

GE IC698CMX016 is a control memory exchange module used on the PACSystems RX7i platform. It is mainly used for using reflective storage technology to provide deterministic data sharing between PLCs and compatible devices through fiber optic networks. It is equipped with 16MB SDRAM, with a working voltage of+5VDC, provided by a power supply, and a current requirement of 1.8 amperes. This module needs to be installed on the mainframe and connected to slots 3 or 4. It adopts fiber LC type, with insertion loss of 0.35 dB (maximum value) and return loss of -30dB. This module is equipped with a reflective memory of 16 MB SDRAM and has parity check.

To take advantage of the functionality of IC698CMX016, it must be installed on an RX7i CPU with firmware version 2.00 or higher, a powered RX7i CPU rack, and configured using Profile Machine Edition – Logic Developer PLC 4.5 or higher.
