The thermocouple input (TBTC) terminal board IS200TBTCH1C is part of the Mark VIe series produced by General Electric Company. This board will accept 24 main thermocouple inputs for T, S, K, J, and E. If this board is used with the PTCH2 board in a simplex system, it can accept three additional thermocouple inputs, labeled R, B, and N. There are two TBTC models, which are IS200TBTCH1C, indicating that it has two DC type connectors and is only used for simplex applications. This board will use two PTCC components, thus allowing 24 inputs.
When connecting the IS200TBTCH1C board as part of the Mark VIe series, the I/O package used will be directly calibrated into the TBTC J-type connector, and the required cables will also depend on the redundancy level required by the board. One characteristic of this board is that the thermocouple input on the board can be ungrounded or grounded. The input distance from the turbine control panel can reach 984 feet. The I/O processor connected to this device will perform analog-to-digital linearization and conversion on a single thermocouple input.
