Description

Woodward 5466-258 is an industrial application dual backplane system rack equipped with two backplanes, left for serial cards and right for express cards (also known as PXI Express). The rack is also equipped with a serial CPU and a mezzanine bus coupling bridge, which can enter two system slots, such as a 10HP assembly. In addition, the rack comes with two detachable power supplies, one for each backplane. Three 120mm fans are installed in the drawer below the card slot for optimal cooling. All components have been selected for high reliability, such as those required for industrial use and rough applications.

The Woodward 5466-258 module is a discrete I/O module. It is typically used to provide digital input and output functions. Digital inputs are used to receive discrete signals such as switch status, sensor status, etc., while digital outputs are used to control discrete devices such as relays, solenoid valves, etc. In addition, the module may have multiple discrete input channels and/or discrete output channels to support the connection of multiple sensors and actuators.
